Lynne Barwick
After gaining her City & Guilds Diploma in Design and Craft (Embroidery) at Derby College, Lynne went on to study Machine Embroidery and Rug Making at South Nottingham College. Her roots are hand and machine embroidery, but she is also interested in a wide diversity of textile crafts and particularly enjoys learning about new materials and techniques. She likes to work in vibrant colours and uncluttered designs, and in the future would like to produce more wearable items.
Lynne is a member of the Ashbourne Branch of the Embroiderers’ Guild.
